3.15--The Prank Master

Harper celebrates becoming an adult.

The middle picture is my favorite.  Do you see Foster checking out Leliana?  He has no boundaries, I say!

Not long into the party, Pacey decides to age-up as well.

I toooootally forgot it was his birthday too.  Whoops.

Aaaand random shot of Marie (her and Angel's daughter Fawn is in the background; pre-makeover).  Marie has a tendency to leave parties -and her children- behind as soon as the festivities begin to bore her.  She was only at Harper's shin-dig for a total of 30 sim minutes. : (

Dasia takes the time to play with the newly toddler-ized Pacey.

And then attempts to scare him senseless.  It doesn't work.

Foster decides to woo the crowd with his awesome guitar playing.  The only drawback is, he makes this decision after everyone has already left and most of the household retired to bed.

"Um... you know I'm the only one awake, right?"

Foster quirks his eyebrow seductively. "When do you become an adult again?"

"Please leave... now." Dasia opens the door and wrinkles her nose in annoyance as Foster chuckles on his way out.

The next morning, Gideon showers to find that someone has used his own prank against him.  His emotions go quickly from abject horror-

-to vowed revenge.  He knows who did it, and she will pay.

He finds the culprit on the couch.  Dasia suppresses a laugh when she sees that his hair is back to its normal red-brown.

Gideon sits nonchalantly, not wanting to give his anger away, but fails miserably.  "I hate your shirt.  It's stupid."

"Yeah... well you're stupid."

Gideon shrugs. "Wanna watch some TV?"

"Fine."

While Dasia prepares for the backlash and Gideon plans his next move, Ellis invites over a new friend.  Her name is Fawn Starr.  She and Ellis instantly connected when they realized they live in similar circumstances.  Both have parents with a past that they still have yet to learn, both have families that moved to Meadow Glen for mysterious reasons, and -most importantly- both have stupid siblings that keep fighting.

"What do your brother and sister do when they fight?" Fawn asks curiously.

Ellis grimaces.  "They call each other mean names and then make me their messenger when they aren't talking anymore.  Right now they are pranking each other until someone cries... or kills the other.  I'm not sure how it is going to end, actually; but it's stupid."

"My brothers yell at each other a lot and sometimes my mom has to break them up.  Last time Kris tried to pull a prank on Tobias, Tobias punched him in the face really hard and his nose bled for a day straight.  My mom is pretty scary when she's angry though and they both haven't dared to fight each other like that since."

Ellis frowns.  "But I see your brothers hanging out together all the time?"

Fawn shrugs. "Yeah.  They're pretty close... they just fight a lot."

"I don't get it."

"Neither do I."

Dasia is legitimately frightened of what Gideon will do to her, so she asks Duncan to come over to help her plan; only to find that he's useless in this department.

"You forget.  My closest sibling in age is a toddler and I don't think it's in good humor to pull shenanigans on a baby."

"Dammit.  I don't know what I'm going to do then.  I guess I'll just have to sweat it out until the little twerp delivers."

"Riiiight.  Aren't you supposed to be the one setting an example in this scenario?"

"You sound just like my parents."

Duncan laughs.  "Well, they do say I'm mature for my age."

"Who are 'they,' exactly?"

"The voices in my head." Duncan smiles. "Listen, my mom wants me to be out of the house for the next few hours and I was thinking we could go out and do something for once?  I think Lizzie said she wanted to go to the movies."

Dasia chuckles.  "When are you two going to go out on a date?"

"Who?  Me and Liz? Uh, never... I suppose.  I don't like her like that.  I -um- well let's just say I have my eye on someone else."

"I take it you're not going to tell me who it is?"  Duncan shakes his head in response. "Well, whoever she is; she's a very lucky girl."

"Yeah, and also very oblivious." Duncan mutters quietly.

"What?"

"I said Liz will be very pissed... um, if she has to wait more than five minutes for us.  You know how she gets."

"Well let's go then.  Angry Liz scares me."

Dasia's prom falls the same night as the twins' birthday.  Gideon is more than happy to see Dasia leave, but Ellis is a bit sad that her sister will miss her big moment, but knows that her sister had been looking forward to prom all month.  They both promise to share all the gory details about their nights when Dasia returns.

As usual, Ellis ages up first-

-followed closely by Gideon.

Gideon doesn't waste any time to get his comeuppance on his sister.  The upside of his whole scheme is that he gets to scare his sister while also cementing his reputation before he even starts school.

"Two birds with one stone."

*cue maniacal laughter*

Just thirty minutes later and he leaves the building satisfied.  Letting all those frogs loose proved to be a feat, but he managed it successfully and didn't get caught in the process.

+1 for Gryffindor... I mean, Gideon!

-----------------------------------------
Generation Four will begin in about four or five chapters -I hope- as I'm planning to rush a bit through Ellis' teen stage (nothing happening) and I really want to get moving along.  Just pretend it makes sense.  : /

CLOSE-UP's

ELLIS
She's definitely an awkward looking teenager.  She's much prettier when she is YA.

GIDEON
I think he turned out quite handsome... surprisingly.

  1. Aww, poor Duncan, looks like he's in love with Dasia & she hasn't even noticed...

  2. Ellis and Gideon look great as teens (But Gideon is my favourite for reasons only you know :P)

Fawn is so cute! I hope we see more of her and the Starr kids as the story goes on. But that's for purely selfish reasons <3.

    Lol. Foster. Don't ever change.

  3. Awww young love. I only JUST found out that a few boys had crushes on me at school, that I didn't know about, because I was being oblivious. Those twins did come out with very defined facial features though. I like it :)

  4. Oh, Foster!
Poor Duncan needs to just go for it, I say.

  5. Lol. Just to be clear, Foster did totally hit on Dasia while he was leaving; but I accidentally erased the picture. I do remember that she was not interested at.all. Surprising, considering they have three traits in common.

Cece: There will definitely be more of the Starr's; as you well know. :D

As far as the Duncan subplot goes -um- I'll just say it does go somewhere... eventually. ;)

  6. Yay! I am finally, finally caught up. Dasia is gorgeous! She and Duncan would make pretty babies if she'd get a clue. I feel kinda bad for Pacey.

  7. Thanks for reading, heaven!

Yeah, poor Pacey gets forgotten A LOT. I'm not even going to try and deny that one. :(
